Is that a PSU? If so, I'd guess that your mobo is alerting to not enough power. ASUS is borderline C tier PSU and it could easily be aging into the redline for powering the 3060.

Okay, so I skimmed the entire manual

and I can't find anything that indicates that the CPU LED is even allowed to light up after POST.
You're 100% sure that it's the CPU light not the power light right next to it right?
If so, I'd like to see what hwmonitor says while you're playing. It's possible that it's lighting up for thermal throttling which might start as low as 80C (I'm not super well versed in this type of thing) and another good piece of info to have would be what cooler you are running
