Unstable/ Low FPS with a Ryzen 7 3700x & 3070 ti on Fortnite and Rust

Hi so recienlty I upgrade from a 1050ti to a 3070ti and I am getting really unstable frames as well as not as high.

I looked everywhere from it being a GPU issue to a RAM issue to a CPU issue.

I Have:
Unistalled and installed drivers twice.

Enabled XMP

Played on low settings and and had the same issue

Played on fps limit set to 60fps and unstable

My CPU core hits only 100% when loading into or out of a fortnite game other than that around 50% or less per core

Changed power setting in NVIDA and on Windows

Looked at many threads from year ago and no result

Only game which gives me high fps but also dips down below 60fps is Rainbow Six Seige

My Hardware is:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

GPU: Gigabyte 3070ti

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3200MHz (Dual channel)

Motherboard: Tomahawk B450 MAX (MSI)

PSU: Corsair 750W (80 Gold+)

Anymore information Im happy to give.

Please can someone help.

Thank you

try checking what your system core or thread count is limited to

Do you have the latest motherboard bios?

Do you use the latest AMD chipset drivers?

Are your temperatures behaving fine?

Gaming with or without V-sync?

Can you run a 3DMark Firestrike and Timespy (available in the free demo version) and post the scores? That would let me compare your scores to similar systems to see if the performance from your hardware is in the OK or in the limited range.

So I did a Motherboard bios update to latest version and AMD chipset then I ran the 3DMark for both Fire strike and Time spy.

Also I game without V-Sync.

When I game my GPU temp is aroun 50°C to 60°C and CPU 60°C to 70°C.

In the benchmark my CPU was hitting 89°C.

Here are my scores:

Sorry for late reply

The performance numbers seem to be fine.

But the CPU temperature reaching 90, that's not fine. Which cooler have you got? Which case with how many fans?

Im using the stock cooler and it reached 90 only in the second benchmark straight after the first also I got the Corsair SPEC-DELTA Carbide Series. So 3 fans in the front and one in the back

I just ran 2 games of Fortnite and got 0.1%fps low as 25fps and 1%fps as 43 max and average around 90fps

Consider replacing your cooler with something better. Even a Snowman cooler from AliExpress would do great.
