Hello i have a laptop with one HDMI port connected to one 4k monitor and i was wondering if i could use some kind of splitter so i could add a second screen so that i could in total have 3 screens all acting as extensions so that i could say have three different apps open one on each screen does anyone know if that is possible or not

Thanks in advance

is that available for all usb ports or does it have to be a special use spec ?

there's ones that work in just about any USB situation, with mixed performance results ofcourse.

if it mentions "displaylink" anywhere in the description, it's very likely to work pretty much wherever.
