I just tried to update windows (idk what version I was on), the update seemed to be going smoothly. During the installation after the initial reboot it got to ~20%, an error box appeared and windows promptly crashed.

It restarted and windows automatically started to go back to its save state. This seemed to work, but when trying to sign in, going from the first screen to enter my pin, the blue transition freezes for ~20 seconds. Sometimes it then goes to where I enter my pin, sometimes it goes back a screen. If the first, I enter my pin but it doesn't auto check it and when I press enter it just blinks momentarily. There is no sign in method options tab and "forgot my pin" is unresponsive. When it does the second, I can press enter it will bring me to sign in with a new account. Either way ~5-10 seconds after the system becomes responsive, it just restarts. During the time typing this, it has probably looped 5-7 times.

I have not made any hardware or major software changes recently except for the aforementioned attempted update.
