I've noticed some hiss when I turn my volume up and attributed it to my amp or something I couldn't really fix, but I realized that when I configure my sound so I am specifically monitoring only Discord (Discord is outputting to my fiber optic cable which I am monitoring. Windows is not outputting on fiber optic. This also works visa versa when Discord is outputting coax and Windows isn't) I get absolutely no hiss even when the volume is turned up, but when I add the rest of Windows it comes back. Lowering my Windows master volume turns down the hiss. I would normally just blame some imperfections in the OS or some interference with my cables, but I've proved I can monitor at least something through Windows without any hiss, so I'm not really sure how to fix it or if that's possible.
