intel pro network drivers for windows 11, missing

i just got a new pc with windows 11 pre-installed.

i run some heavy bandwidth applications and had an x550 intel network card installed.

looking around intel site i dont seem to find an approved windows 11 network driver.

is this right? should i just go with the pre-installed bs?

i already miss the nice powershell tools, but im weary of installing a drive that is not "win11 approved" by the manufacturer.

the only win11 approved driver i found on intel's site is for their "killer" line

>We have received an update from our engineering team. Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for Windows 11 driver release. We also recommend to check with your board manufacturer if your motherboards can fully support Windows 11 if they have if they have drivers for chipset, audio and other components.

windows 11 is not on intel support matrix

Microsoft Windows 10 is the final Microsoft Windows Operating System to support Intel PROSet and Intel ANS.

Haven't seen a win10 driver that didn't work in Win11 yet. Both the generic driver and the current Win10 one should be fine...

That's a 6-year old product intended for the server market so I doubt Intel will bother making a Win11-specific one since it's unlikely the intended market will move to Win11 (more like its server equivalent) before years....

Here is intel's drivers for that NIC. Zero plans to add windows 11 support from an email I got from them. WTF Intel. Now I waisted money on 8 of these things!

How is it wasted?  As mentioned, the Windows 10 driver should work fine.
