First PC build - advice needed

Budget (including currency): ~800€ (excluding GPU)

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant, GTA V, possibly some CAD work

Other details: I got my hands on a 3060ti FE for msrp and am looking to build a decent PC around that. Peripherals and OS are not needed and I'd like to play at 1080p 144Hz.

Parts list: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/VvMPmk

I have little knowledge as this is my first build so advice on any component would be greatly appreciated.

looks good. Make sure when you buy the CPU that is says that the cooler is included (box version not tray).

The Mainboard will likely have an older version of BIOS installed that won't support a Ryzen 5000 cpu.

That is no issue because you can Update the BIOS without the CPU Installed using This guide from the mainboards manual

I'd say go for the 5800x/12700 (non-k) if it's not too much more. The 2 extra cores will give you some wiggle room for any future AAA game you might be interested in. Also, it makes the overall computer and gaming experience much nicer.

An SSD with a dram cache would be better for a boot drive. SN550 is a nice drive, but having a little bit nicer one for bit more would make the computer much snappier.

I'd also drop the HDD and just get 1 TB SSD. You can always add more storage later.

Example AMD Build:

Thanks for the hint! Somehow it didn’t even cross my mind to take a look in the manual but that information is very helpful.

I‘ll have to see if I can extend my budget a little bit but I will definitely consider the SSD. Thanks for your advice!
