Quick question about M.2 SSD

Go to solution Solved by GuiltySpark_,

Theoretically, barring any heatsinks that need to be removed (motherboard dependent), yes. The screw may be pre-installed in the standoff and you also may need to move the standoff to match the size of your M.2 drive (most are 2280).

To connect the SSD.

All I have to do is power off PC,

turn off and unplug PSU,

pop a side panel open,

put it in the slot and find a screw from motherboard box and I should be good to go, right?
