Windows 11 freezing

I had an intermittent issue with windows 11 where my pc will basically lock up. It start like a slow down.  If a video is playing for example it will begin to act.like lag and then just stop working. Nothing will work except sound keeps playing.  Even hitting the power button sometimes won't work.  Has anyone else experienced this?
