Quest 2 System Performance

Coming from the perspective that I've been a Vive user for the past 2 years plus, I've always enjoyed it. Except for the wires.

So if you look back into my post history, you'll see that I am at a gigantic turning point for my existence in the tech sphere. I am upgrading from a 1080/7700/16GB Alienware prebuild to a 3080FTW3, 5600X and 32GB of RAM. I figured that since I was making such a leap with my computer, I might as well make a leap in my VR headset as well. I'm really looking for a wireless experience with higher fidelity than the Vive offers. So the Quest 2 ticks the boxes. I just have questions about the performance.

I play Assetto Corsa, AMS2, ACC, etc. And while my rig will be more than capable of pushing out the pixels at 60fps in pancake mode, I'm quite concerned about the VR aspect. I already struggle to get 50+fps in AC in the Vive on track by myself with a borrowed 3070 so what should I expect with my new system should I choose to purchase the Quest 2? I run Sol, CSP, etc on AC just to be perfectly clear.

(Edit:) I also would love to know if the headset has the terrible god rays that the Vive's lenses have.
