Hi all,

So couple of months ago I built a new PC. Rough specs are: I7 11700K GTX3070Ti 32GB crucial ballistix RAM MSI MPG 750W gold rates PSU MSI MPG Z590 gaming plus MB

So when building it, it posted fine without a cooler on. As soon as I attached the cooler the red CPU light would turn on. Weird as hell but hey, next thing I loosened the screws, re fit it etc and it worked.

Games like this for about 2 months and now the red cpu light turned on again and wouldn’t boot / post. Removed cooler cleaned CPU and re seated it, posts without cooler, re attach cooler loosely red CPU light again.

It would boot and post with either 2 screws or 3 but then red cpu light when 4th attached.

I assume the cooler is the issue so buy a new one (Noctua DH-15 chroma black. Fitted it and posted first time, great, take it back to my set up connect everything back into it, red CPU light again. If I fiddle with the CPU cooler it will boot and I can game (runs a little hotter but I only have the 1 fan attached and 3 intake fans on front so ordered new fans for airflow)

Anyone else experienced anything like this before? Or can help me before I lose my mind hahaha

Thanks for any advice / help and if you need any more information, please let me know
