Hi, so I've just built my first pc and have been using it for a couple days now. Works like it should, plays games flawlessly, does everything I need it to. But there are some things I am concerned about, every time I turn the PC on and log in, I am met with the windows usb disconnect sound and I have no clue what it is. Also in device manager I have 5 unknown devices (attached file). Is there anyway I can resolve this?

go to your motherboard's manufacturer support page, and download/install all relevant chipset drivers, that should clear up some, or all of those.

How do I install the driver? I've got it downloaded

should just be able to see it in your downloads(depending on which browser you use), then click run. you can also go to downloads through file explorer, regardless of browser, and just run it as admin.

edit: also, i assume you have already done this, if not, install the latest driver's for your gpu.

All installed now, there isn't the usb disconnect sound anymore upon turning the pc on, but the unknown drivers are still there

try right clicking them one at a time, and selecting "update driver". in my experience, it's usually just one device, and once that installs, the rest tend to resolve.

All of them just say windows was unable to install and couldn't find any drivers to update
