So a year or so ago I Hackintoshed my HP Elitebook 8470p three times. High Sierra, Mojave and even Catalina after some tweaking.

But the power port stopped working so I opened the laptop up.

Bad idea, somehow I broke something inside.

My grandpa traded the broken laptop with my current computer, a Dell Latitude E6420.

No matter what I do, THE DAMNED THING WILL NOT BE HACKINTOSHED!

I try installing Big Sur with a really cool tweak, Fail, it wouldn't boot OpenCore or Clover after install and USB couldn't find the main SSD.

I try High Sierra with Niresh, Fail. It refused to boot.

I try creating my own High Sierra USB, Fail. I got it to boot, but it wouldn't load USB kexts, so peripherals wouldn't work.

A main problem with not getting the USB to boot is, when I select the USB drive in the BIOS to choose the EFI, the entire BIOS menu freezes, and I have to do a hard shutdown.

Can anybody help me?

What's the "really cool tweak" you used with Big Sur?
Also, I recommend against using Niresh and similar projects - just go with regular old macOS.

It does not. I disabled the TPM which it does have and different required settings.
