I just installed a new NVMe SSD yesterday but I also have a SATA HDD for extra storage. I can see it under device manager but I cannot see it under disk management or This PC under my files. I can see it in the BIOS too but not under the boot menu. Need help!

Windows 10

MSI X99A SLI Plus

I'd definitely try reseating the m.2 and rearrange the sata cable to make sure that it isn't conflicting with your m.2 drive. I double checked your manual and it recommends a full power flush before installing a new m.2 if you haven't already. Since it's being detected in bios, that means it is also just a windows thing. Doesn't hurt to be thorough

Also. Make sure to install your storage drivers and that should clear it up after a restart

You don't need to say "SATA HDD" since nowadays motherboard do not support ATA or SCSI port without an adapter, just say HDD to reduce wasted time! But not with SSD 🙂

Take the picture of file explorer and disk managment for me please?
