No display, but programs run?

After signing into windows, I get a black screen, but my mouse cursor works, I can open task manager, and from there any program I open through either starting a task or opening command centre works. But I still get a black screen where I cannot click anything after closing those programs.

 

i have tried sfs scannow and restarted the computer after it said it repaired corrupted files, but it continued to do this.

DISM cleanup-image scan health prompt gave me an error code 87.

 

has anyone had similar issues before? Can’t seem to find a fix that works online.
