You should probably reinstall. There are deep-down little tweaks that Windows makes for Intel vs AMD on install that can be nasty to troubleshoot down the line.

You can move your existing Windows installation if you want to, but there's always a chance that it won't work properly or that it'll cause issues in the future. A clean installation of Windows is your best bet.

Agree with reinstalling. I've had no issues in the past but then I've only done that when going from Intel > Intel and when both old and new motherboards have been made by the same OEM (Asus > Asus twice, Gigabyte > Gigabyte once).

 

Since you're switching from Intel to AMD, a reinstall is recommended.

Agreed with reformatting. A reformat will help knock out any errors you might see if you didn't reformat.

 

Make sure you back up your data though, and your saves (steam saves/userdata, etc.). A 32GB - 64GB flash drive is usually enough for those who don't typically store a lot, but a 1TB - 2TB external hard drive would be best.
