What I do is set my oc and then let unigine heaven for a few cycles. If it runs the entire time without artifacting or crashing or the driver stops working, I up my oc. When I get to an unstable oc, I knock it down a notch, do one cycle in heaven for assurance. If there is no issue, I then just run with that overclck. If I run into a game that crashes or artifacts, I then knock my oc down a few MHz.

That's my method. It works well for me. I don't know if there's a better way, if there is, I'd love to hear of it.

Furmark is a "overstress" test that like "damage" cards, skip it (any that recommend run that is nuts)

grab Prime95 and start the stabilise process (a 2h torture test)

then down the OC until all cores pass the 2h test (with no error message)

all good so far ? then... let's start Valley Benchmark on the graphics card
