PC freezing

Hello,

I recently noticed that my PC after some time of use, it completely freezes without doing something demanding (gaming - actually it never happened while gaming) and the only way out is reset or force shutdown. Also, if that helps, I noticed that I can move my mouse and right-click but I am unable to open or close anything.

Open up an admin command prompt or powershell and run the following commands:

sfc /scannow

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

These two commands *should find and repair any corrupt Windows files. *Note Windows is weird and they may not actually find the specific issue that is causing the problem. So, a full Windows reinstall may be necessary.

You can also try doing a clean installation of your display drivers.

A BIOS Update may not hurt either.

I have tried the commands, bios update, clean installation of Nvidia drivers before. The only thing that I didn't try is the re-installation of windows, but I have no idea how I am able to do it without losing my files.
