Enough power to overclock?

Hi, this is my first time on the forums, and i had a question.

I have a 620 watt antec power supply, and i was wondering if i had enough power to overclock my processor and graphics card.

I7 4770k - want to overclock to hopefully 4.7 ghz

Xfx r9 290 - want to overclock to 1400 MHz

8 gb of corsair vengeance ram

Asus z87 gryphon motherboard

Antec high current gamer 620 watt psu

you should have enough power for both of them to be overclocked

You'll need an aftermarket CPU cooler though if you want the CPU to last and be stable.

620W of 80+ Bronze power is excessive even for an overclocked 4770K and an R9 290

That's more than enough power. You'll definitely want an aftermarket cooler for the CPU if you don't have one already. Also, from what I've seen, the R9 290 doesn't overclock very well, so you'll be very lucky if you can get it to run at 1400MHz. Even 780s and 780Tis that overclock very well won't run at 1400MHz and be stable.
