HDD problem need some help :/

Hello guys i have nvme m.2 1TB but i open to clean my pc and connect my old HDD to storage films pics etc. there. But when i start my pc when i go to disks it show the HDD that is 116gb ? i format the disk but still the same what should i do guys ?

Open the PC back up and make sure it's connected correctly first

If it had Windows in it before, is probably that it's only reading a main partition and you need to clean all the disk not just format it with the explorer(which just formats the recognized partition). Use diskpart to delete all partitions and format it through there.

yeah it should have old windows there but how to delete all partitions with diskpart can u explain me i have no idea how to do it..
