Finally, i'm almost done with choosing a PSU for my setup.

Which one is better:  XPG Pylon or Gigamax 650w? Pylon have only 3 years of warranty , Zalman have 5 years wrranty but with 50k MTBF rating.

Reviews for Pylon

Review for Zalman

And i still couldn't decide which is better.

Other choice thats within my budget.

MSI MAG A550BN   - 5 years, Tier C  but smaller cap than Pylon(390uF vs 270uF).

Silverstone viva -  Does all Silverstone have best quality in class ?

Silverstone VIVA what ? Gold version is better than anything you've mentioned. Bronze one is technically on par with these but i'd rather go with XPG Pylon in that case. Zalman employs some unknown OEM and there are near-zero proper reviews or even just full teardowns on any of their stuff so hard pass.

Would be good to post your pc specs.

If it's possible i'd get a good quality, well known 80+ gold model like a be quiet! Pure Power or Corsair TXm.

Give you give me a solid and fair reason as for why. Those are really expensive for me and im not building a power hungry tower either. Just decent mid ranger, i3 with Rx 570, 2 7200rpm hdd and everything else standard.

Also, im from Malaysia and Be quiet is not sold here/No authorised seller.

Silverstone Viva Bronze. I'm leaning towards Pylon as well. Still, its still slightly pricier, lesser warranty thn Zalman and when i observed the internal components(im just a noob still), Zalman seem to have nothing less the Pylon(2 jap cap, same topology, better heatsinks, all the components were present).

Do you know anything more about that ?

Thank you sincerely, i appreciate you effort.

I can buy from Shopee. That psu look goods. But, its still expensive for me. I checked the specification, and very little info available(dc-dc,llc, temps, so much missing).

The Pylon 550 is sold at RM230.00 . And internals looks good, almost same as that TUF. So, do you know if should stick with Pylon or try for the TUF(if there are good reasons) ?

*i couldn't find any review for the Asus.

Again, thanks for recommending.

Adata Pylon is Double Forward + DC-DC. Asus TUF Bronze is LLC + DC-DC platform from Great Wall. The same as Corsair TXM Gold but with downgraded caps. I prefer the Asus over the Adata.

Other option is the Cooler Master MWE V2 Bronze. There are tons available. https://shopee.com.my/COOLER-MASTER-MWE-BRONZE-V2-80-(-500W-600W-700W-)-POWER-SUPPLY-i.41006578.6131967138?sp_atk=e852450f-6d46-42d9-bec9-94af62c68829 for example.

Yeap, found some reviews for the tuf and reading.

The MWE V2, its was the one i was hoping to gett at first(longer warrnty, LLC and even slightly cheaper thn Pylon) but i found so many review about it, mention about high ripples, (Cpu tier list on low priority and this issue was mentioned), mediacore Transient response despite llc(some says they used good component but mismatched?) and few other shortcomings. Hence i searched for other psu.

Again, sorry if sound like im having too many reasons. I just want to be safe and best for my budget.

Reason would be to be sure about the quality and not to having to worry about it too much. Where I am from price difference is quite small between the lower end bronze psus and the entry level gold ones.

I dont know the xpg and zalman models, but the pylon looks decent enough looking at the review at toms hardware. Should work just fine for your hardware.

In my place, its almost twice. The price is crazy for us budget builders. But yeah, im looking Cooler Master now.

But, mind if i ask how do you know if ita a good quality? Is it based on price?

For now, i try reading reviews, that includes tear down, listing the components(its rating and quality) and performance/stability tests. There are ample of reviews for XPG, few for Cooler Master(though not the 230v version) and only 2 for the Zalman.
