Recommendation(s) for single bay pump/res?

Go to solution Solved by Altecice,

If you want an honest opinion. Dont touch them. get a separate pump and res.

The combos leak, break and dont do the rated l/h they are ment to avoid them!

If you are not OCing stick to air coolers.

Hello everyone,

I'm currently pricing out a PC which will go into my arcade cabinet and run the system.I'm not just running old-school software I also make my own games for it and re-makes of old classics I really like.

There will be water cooling but for space conservation I'm using an Obsidian 250D case. Currently the only series of 5.25" single bay pump/res combo's i've seen are made by Koolance. I've personally never used Koolance products and the reviews I've been able to watch and read are pretty mixed. Half go on about how great they are. The other go on about how their pump failed 5 to 7 months in.

Can anyone recommend any non-Koolance 5.25" single-bay pump/res combo units? The most important part of this is the whole single bay thing.

This build won't have an optical drive at all so it will be taking up that bay. I've got nothing against Koolance currently but I've read and watched so many reviews and it's still at 50/50 so I'm trying to find some alternatives to either use or compare to.

I've already go the CPU block and GPU block/cover sorted out.

Looking forward to your suggestions (if you give any).
