Logitech g29

Hi. A couple of years ago I did have entire setup g27 (steering wheel, shifter, and pedals). I did sell it unfortunately and now I'm looking to buy g29. And I just have a question I was just looking at the shifters from g27 and g29. And I'm curious can I plug in the g27 shifter to g29 for more buttons? Because g29 shifter doesn't have any of them.
