Iiayama - £139

AOC 24G2 - £152

Benq - £129 Out of Stock, £200 available

With these prices i'd go for the AOC and call it a day. It's known good so i don't see a reason to risk it with the iiyama for 13 pounds.

Budget (including currency): TBA

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Generally indie games, maybe some online multiplayer, don't generally play AAA or BR games

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Recently upgraded my RAM (had 2400mhz and now rocking 3200mhz) and wondered what you might suggest for future upgrades?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x

MB: Gigabyte Aorus B450M

RAM: 2x 8GB Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4B 3200 MHz DDR4

GPU: Gigabyte Aorus Radeon RX 580 8GB OC

Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L Mini Tower

Storage: Intel SSD 760p Series 256GB M.2-2280, Seagate BarraCuda 2TB SATA III 3.5" HDD, COTT 512 GB Internal SSD

PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 650W Semi-Modular

Cooling: Be Quiet! Pure Rock 2 Black Air Tower CPU Cooler, 2x Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 140mm front fans

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, MB: Gigabyte B450 AORUS M, RAM: 2x 8GB Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4B 3200 MHz DDR4, GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 Aorus 8GB OC, Case: Corsair Crystal 280X RGB Black, Storage: Intel SSD 760p Series 256GB M.2-2280, Seagate BarraCuda 2TB SATA III 3.5" HDD, COTT 512 GB Internal SSD, PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 650W, Display: Samsung G3 F27G35TFW, Cooling: Corsair H100i Platinum, 2x Corsair LL120 RGB front fans.

What's your monitor?

Currently don't have one but I'm looking at either the AOC 24G2 or BenQ EX2510S MOBIUZ.

Also would appreciate people's opinions on the two.

Both are really good, the BenQ is slightly better, but not worth the added cost imo. The AOC 24G2 is the entry level price/performance champ.

Tbh other than buying a nice monitor like these 2 i don't see anything in your system that needs upgrading. A GPU upgrade could always come in handy but the 580 is fast enough for 1080p gaming and we all know how ridicolusly overpriced an upgrade would be.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

What's your opinion on the Iiyama G2470HSU as an alternative to the other two? Pros or cons?

The specs seem quite similar. But i didn't see a review yet. Problem is that iiyama is a pretty small brand so they don't receive much attention from reviewers. How is it priced compared to the other two?
