Tpm 2.0 isnt working

So I have a Ryzen 5 2600x that supports tpm 2.0 but when I turn it on in the bios and restart my pc, it won't boot anymore into win10, just gives an error screen. Does someone know what the problem can be? I want to upgrade to win11 but this way i'd have to give it a clean install that i don't really want (even if that i'll work, may not idk)
