BIOS flashing

otacon19

Will flashing the bios multiple times damage anything?聽I've been trying to troubleshoot a couple of things (which I've already solved) and I was installing different bios versions. I know that there is a is some risk with flashing bios but every bios flash has been successful. Just want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong with doing it to many times. Thanks 馃檪聽(I have a UPS btw just in case.)

Technically, the ROM has a finite number of writes before it's trash (far fewer than your typical flash storage or SSDs), but unless you're flashing it constantly, you'll be fine. If it isn't bricked currently, there's nothing to worry about.
