New PC

I Am building a PC for modest to hardcore gaming, I am new to PC building, but have done tons of research, but not all, and I could use some help with making a good rig, here is my PC on PC Part Picker https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NmpZt8 I also have a PC case and a separate ssd for extra storage. Also, do you think that the power supply is overkill, or should I keep it for future upgrades?

That cooler is very bad for this CPU, Worse than stock cooler.

Samsung 980 is very bad drive for price.

And no need for case?

Please get a different cooler. This one sucks and even the stock cooler would be better. Get a Dark Rock 4 or Scythe Mugen 5.

Also a case could be useful. You don't need something crazy expensive, but make sure it has good airflow and is easy to build in.

3060 Ti isn't overkill, but the CPU kinda is. Maybe if you downgrade to a 5600X you can find a better GPU? Still even with 5800X + 3060 Ti it should perform really well and this may be better if you plan on upgrading the GPU in the future.

It looks good apart from 3 things

1. The CPU cooler should be upgraded to either a tower or AIO cooler

2. GPU should be from a third party instead of founders edition as the founders edition cards cooling is quite bad.

3. 1TB is not enough as some games take up a lot of space
