Every time I turn on my PC after I force shutdown my PC like a month ago because it soft locked and there was nothing else I could do, Windows does a disk check on start up every single time.

Looks something like this but with an MSI background

How to Stop Chkdsk Running on Every Startup - Support.com TechSolutions

It says "press any key to skip disk checking" and I do it yet every time I turn on my pc it still prompts the disk check.

Here is a guide to hopefully clear the "Dirty bits"

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/check-disk-runs-at-every-startup-windows

I myself had to deal with this last year.

it might even take multiple attempts to remove the startup chkdsk. It was acting funny for me for a couple days so I found a guide similar to this, and fixed it.

I also DID re enable it later and I'd recommend not leaving it off completely once sorted.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
