NetBIOS on Realtek

I have a problem with NetBIOS on a computer with Realtek NIC. Is Win7 since the application I needed is only on Win7. I used the same Win7 installation HDD with a motherboard that has an Intel NIC and it works. But when I switch the same HDD to a motherboard with a Realtek NIC, it just doesn't work. I tried changing the registry under NetBIOS and NetBT and it doesn't work. Anyone has an insight on this?
