Valve Index Display Problem

So i got my index today and after mounting all the base stations and half an hour of updating the firmware for everything i noticed that only the left eye is displaying something so i restarted the headset, when steam vr booted up i saw an image on both eyes but after 2-3 seconds the right eye stopped displaying anything again, the led's are green and i couldnt find any errors in the debug logs of steam vr.

 

Googling around a bit and i soon found the most likely suspect, the usb ports, so i tried every single usb port from 2.0 to 3.1 gen2 but all had the same problem so i reset my bios settings incase it was my oc that caused all this, nothing same problem.

 

The headset firmware has also been reflashed without success and when looking into this issue further i found none having this problem on only one eye, having both display nothing seems relatively common.

 

Has anyone here experienced this issue?

I still have hope its not the headsets fault so i ordered a pcie usb expansion and will see if that fixes it in the meantime.

 

My specs are as followed:

• Windows 10 20H2
• Ryzen 5 3600
• X470 Gaming Pro Carbon
• 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix @ 3800MHz
• AMD RX 6700 XT

Everything is updated (Bios, Drivers...)
