NAS Drives - Recommendations

Hi All, 

The drives in my NAS have started to die due to age and i was looking at NAS Drives to get but was not sure on which type to go for, Any Recommendations ?

You dont state budget, drive count, nor size target so.... Seagate EXOS Enterprise Drive.

Did the post in a rush - I had 4 1TB drive in RAID 5 - 3 of the drives have now failed (luckily I had a back up of the data on a USB HDD) with regards to budget i have not got one set as this is something that i would like to be flexible and i will then set myself  a target to save for, but it was more a question of brand and quality

Ah, i see. Well yeah, honestly Seagate have been hitting it right in this end of the generation right now, with still making a reliable 7200RPM CMR drives for 24/7 operation at a reasonable price. While i was jokingly recommending you their EXOS drives, their lineup is pretty much the best enterprise drive in value right now, with the more tame Ironwolf and Skyhawk (their 5400rpm CCTV drive lineup) available for a rated small drive count (around 12-16) at a more reasonable price. Another alternative would be WD Red Pro (heavy emphasis on pro due to that being the only reliable way to get CMR drives thats in WD red lineup), or WD Purple.
