Hello,

I am a co-owner of a very small 3D studio and we are looking to upgrade a couple of our machines.  Until now, we've been using some pretty cheaply-made local PCs, which have been working alright, but it's definitely time for an upgrade.  Plus, with clients starting to come back in and have meetings, we need some machines that actually look "professional", rather than generic.

I've been looking at the Dell Alienware line of desktops, but just saw a video by Gamers Nexus that shows how horrible the Alienware's internals are.  I'm noping the eff away from that.

Just wondering your thoughts on a prebuilt 3D machine from a reputable manufacturer?  I know there are 3D-specific PC build companies out there, but if possible, something from a more-recognizable brand would be great.  I have built my own PCs before and enjoy it, but where we are situated, name-value means a lot.

We'll be doing mostly motion work in Maya, with some rendering in Arnold and possibly UE4 in the future.  We sometimes do Houdini simulation work.

Major specs I'm looking at are:

RTX-3080
Ryzen (multi-processor for Houdini sims, but nothing too hardcore, suggestions are welcome)
64 GB RAM

Any ideas?

Thank you!
