Looking here it seems that Intel has named it's upcoming dGPUs to Arc. Anyone know any more about this:

GN did a peice on it a couple days ago

If you just google/search Youtube for Intel Arc Alchemist, you'll find load of info on it. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=intel+arc+graphics+

Your question's pretty broad though, are you asking for information on the naming or on the products themselves?

In regards to the name, it's really stupid. Why Intel decided to name them something that already exists within their own ecosystem is beyond me.

Elf? 😆

I'm hoping the availability is good with these cards (probably not). After my 1080 died a couple of months ago, I've had to go back to my previous cardthe R9 390. It's way too slow for modern gaming at 1440p, so I've mostly been just playing older games in my backlog or just doing work. Nvidia cards are nearly impossible to get where I am, online or no, so I'm hoping Intel provides a shot in the arm in that. If their "Alchemist" series of GPUs provide performance equivalent to a 3070 (at a decent price) then I'll gladly buy in.

MAIN SYSTEM: Intel i9 10850K | 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4-3600C16 | RTX 3070 FE | MSI Z490 Gaming Carbon WIFI | Corsair H100i Pro 240mm AIO | 500GB Samsung 850 Evo + 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSDs | EVGA SuperNova 850 P2 | Fractal Design Meshify C | Razer Cynosa V2 | Corsair Scimitar Elite | Gigabyte G27Q

Definitely, or maybe if the Alchemist is at 3060 and the Battlemage at 3070, then it would make sense for them too

I got the impression that Battlemage would be the generation following Alchemist. I could be wrong though.

I'll even take 3060 performance at this point for $500 at most. Just about anything's an improvement over my 390.

Pricing seems absurd when taken out of context haha. But yeah, at this point anything is an upgrade over a 390, even the 6600xt lol!
