This is my first time building a PC the motherboard RGB light turns on when I turn on the power supply nothing else turns on, When I hit the PC turn on button nothing happens I have tried unplugging and replug in and wires I have made sure that the wires connecting to the power on button or in the correct place. The PC was working fine until I decided to replace the CPU cooler with another cooler after I did this the PC did not turn on I did have to unplug things to put in the cooler but I replug those back in in the correct places

If you could take a picture of the motherboard too? The video I can only see the back of it, none of the cables to get an idea. Listing full specs would also help.

Specs are:

saphire Radeon graphics card RX 6700 xt

Rog Strix B550-F gaming wifi

ryzen 5 cpu

Corshair RM850x power bank

Let me know if you need more information

try this test but have your power supply off and disconnected BEFORE you put in the paperclip. Make sure it is also disconnected from your pc components. Take it out if you have to in order to ensure the fan spins. If the fan doesn't spin, you may have a dead psu.

The RGB in the motherboard lights up when I turn on the PSU so I think its not dead.

The RGB doesn't really matter. Still do the test, if nothing is spinning whatsoever from the rest of the computer and you can't hard power the motherboard, it could still be a power issue. Process of elimination.

Yep, fan started spinning so we are all good there

Do you think I broke something while switching CPU coolers?

I couldn't imagine that you did. Maybe try loosening the cpu cooler to make sure it's not compressing too much. Did you remove the cpu at all when you changed the cooler?

Lossend and not crushhing, but to no avail

Hmmm. Other than replugging everything or trying the psu on a different computer I'm not sure what else to do unfortunately. The paperclip test isn't 100% for the psu. If you had another psu to try on the mobo maybe. I doubt you harmed the motherboard at all but at this point, it's beyond my area of expertise. Sorry buddy. 😞
