Any opinions? I'd like to optimise my pc as much as possible. Also, any recommendations for a GPU ? I'll use the given cpu fan for a bit so don't flame me xd

Well I read some great reviews on it, and according to my local IT shop they are based on Corsair's PSU's, so why not ?

Well alright I guess. I'm not any expert so I'll just bump on that one.

I do know that, I was asking for recommendations for GPU's so if you've got any I'll gladly hear you ^^

Sorry, I didn't read that you were asking for a GPU recommendation on the original post.

In my opinion, a 6700 XT would be a good pair with 5600X. The Hellhound 6700 XT is my favorite.

Overall a very solid build!
The motherboard is a bit overkill in my opinion. If you don't need wifi, then stick to a normal board. And if you need it but the speed isn't that important, use a wifi stick. The great thing about ATX boards is the the upgradeability, just buy a PCIe Wifi card later. They can be had for around 30€.

I added a fan, but you can use just a solid 30 40 € fan and be fine, the 5600X isn't a hot chip.

Great Ram and storage solution, but I'd go for an SSD with cache, just to have that bit more longevity.

I swapped the case to the 4000D airflow, a great case for its price and with 1 added fan a very good airflow model!

For PSU's, 650w is fine as the 5600X won't go over 100w and the GPU probably not over 300w.

GPU is a difficult topic, get the best one you can get, but especially for music production, don't skimp out on the CPU. I thought about upgrading you to a 5800X, but I think the 5600X should be enough. For GPU therefore try to get a 3060TI or 6700XT. If you can't or they're to expensive, try it at the used market. I've seen 6700XT's drop for 400 to 500 bucks, but thats rare. The 3060TI is a bit cheaper. The plain 3060 is a different card, I personally wouldn't aim for it, rather a used RX580 or GTX 1660 or 970 or something like that.

Alright, thanks a lot ! I actually really like your build to be honest. But the b550-f just hits different you know, it has a great bios, good vrm's, and it's magnificently please  ? And wifi is useful for me since my internet box is shit with Ethernet but has solid wifi (don't ask how or why, I wouldn't know, just note that my rj-45 sucks). And it just changes by 10e between wifi and no wifi so why not ? And I defnitely agree with you ATX is the go to in some situations.

What's the difference between your ssd and the P2, besides the cache, and is it useful? I hesitated with the 4000D too, but I can't seem to find the provided fan and I'm very pointy when it comes to uniformity, however if they're sold somewhere, I'd be interested. I'm also hesitating with the 4000x, thoughts ? I also got negative reviews on the Techsource server about the 212 saying it sucks, is it true ?

And would you take i5-10600k over the 5600x ? And the 5800x is quite expensive and is a toaster from what I heard too. The 6700xt is at 600 every Thursday on AMD.com so why not ?

Thank you in advance for your answers ! ^^

So a drive with DRAM will more longevity and can also be faster. When the SSD doesn't have DRAM, the controller searches through the nand-flash chips.

When you have a small cache installed, it'll search through the more reliable cache first. So if you boot of of it, Windows will have files in cache that can be accessed without needing to decrease the life of the nand flash chips

I'd never tale the 10600K - the 5600X is a great performer!!! It outperforms comparable intel chips and is very power efficient.

The 5800X is a hotter chip, but nothing to serious. 11th gen intel runs way hotter. So a good aircooler should be enough.

And if you get the 6700XT, then why not! It's a great card even for 1440p.

Also, what is raid 0 exactly ? And can it work with the a2000 ?

For any raid you'll need at least 2 similar drives. Raid 0 means, that the data gets split in two and each drive saves one part of the data. But if one drive fails, there is no backup and your data is corrupted.
This is mostly applicable in Datacenter and server use. If you use an SSD with DRAM at home, it'll be plenty fast enough.

I backup my data via copy to an internal and an external HDD, so thats also a possibility if you're into that thing

Sorry for distubing you, does 3200 CL16 and 3600 CL 16 actually change anything besides having 2 more fps in games ?

So 3600 CL18 is equally fast for intel then 3200 CL16

But Ryzen runs a bit better with 3600MHz, because it syncs its infinity fabric clock to the Ram. So with 3600MHz, Ryzen will gain a few FPS and runs smoother on other applications.

You can run 3200MHz CL16, but if you have the choice, go for the 3600MHz
