The gpu is receiving power fine because the fans are spinning and the hdmi port works fine. The gpu is detected in device manager but it says it doesnt work properly. i know the hdmi port works fine because the cpu is outputting a signal through the gpu. I opened the gpu up and it looks fine. There is no rust or corrosion. Can i take it to micro center or something and get it repaired if not where else?

is the hdmi plugged into the gpu or the mobo?

try reseating it.

and if u changed any settings recently that may have caused a problem, put them back

ddu can help, because new drivers cause problems because i think the nvidia driver installers write the new drivers over the old ones leaving some parts of the old ones behind, which may cause problems. i recommend trying ddu if you havent.

edit: fixed grammar
