No, you can just stick a gpu in your system and itll work fine, the cpu prob wont bottleneck you since its a zen 3 cpu, or was it a zen 2 cpu? Idk

And previously asked, from the 275r airflow, 4000D and 4000D airflow, which one would be the best out of those 3?

Eh they are all good, though id go for the cheapest among those 3

Budget (including currency): <1500 AUD (~1200 AUD preferred)

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Modded Minecraft, programming, Unity, Blender, Fusion 360 possibly

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Mobo has been bought, I'm mostly buying from local stores in Australia (PLE) or ones with free shipping (Amazon, etc.)

I have a few questions on my pc parts list (I haven't added gpu)

1. Would it be better to spend an extra $40 for a SN850 wd 500gb m.2 ssd than an SN750? Or is it not worth it?

2. Is a 275R Airflow a case good enough or are there other ones I should consider (Shipping may cost ~$100 for other cases) should i get a 4000D (no/yes airflow) which both cost $10 more

3. Is a gt 1030 good for light gaming, mostly Minecraft now and upgrading later, or would getting a 1650 now be a better option?

4. Are there any other recommendations to this list?

Thanks for your time

No, gen4 ssds are basically useless unless you transfer massive files like 4/8k vid regularly

Good case, though cheaper cases are available, maybe consider the phanteks p300a or forge 100r

Ok ish but i wouldnt reccomend it

Upgrade to a ryzen 5 5600x for better single core, psu seems abit overpriced maybe look at a decent 850w unit such as the rm, or revolution df, get a cpu cooler like the se 224 xt or any decent 4 heatpipe tower cooler cause it will cool the cpu much better than the stock cooler

would that fit in my budget of around 1200 AUD preferred

Good case as in the 275R or 4000D?

A ryzen 5 5600x is $400, would it be ok to spend that much?

All 850w units cost more than $150 around, the corsair RM850 gold is $160 would that fit my budget?

5600x and rm psu will fit in the budget

4000d is also a good case but cheaper options are as i mentioned forge 100r or p300a, though id suggest the 100r since it has 3 fans preinstalled and rgb as a bonus though you can turn it off if you dont like it

The budget as in $1200, as its currently at around $1200 and changing the 3600 to a 5600x and the psu to an rm will add around 110, the gt 1030 costs $149, which will definately go over the preferred budget of $1200

Also, were you refering to the gt 1030 when saying "okish" the 100r and p300a are essentially unbuyable with expensive shipping costs

From the 275r airflow, 4000D and 4000D airflow, which one would be the best out of those 3?

Dont bother with a gt 1030, i thought you had one laying around since you didnt inclue it in your original post

Instead swap the cpu for a 5600/5700g and ditch the 1030 entirely, the vega igpu has similar performance to the 1030

Maybe instead of the rm look at the revolution df or msi mpg psus

Would it affect my upgradeability in the future for a better gpu

The enermax revolution df 650w is practically unbuyable and would cost more from shipping

The msi mpg 750w is $139, the same price, should i get this psu

The msi mpg 850w version is $149, should i get this one instead or not
