PC blackscreening

So yesterday I upgraded my PC and that unfortunatly came with some issues, I think it’s my PSU not being able to provide but we’ll see what you guys think.

 

Motherboard: Asrock X570 Steel Legend

Powersupply: TN5V6T00 Corsair TX550M

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x (Default clock)

GPU: Asus ROG Strix RX 5700xt (Default clock on driver 21.6)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance @3600mhz 32gb

Cooler: Corsair H115i

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit (Fresh install)

 

This is all at it’s default settings in a corsair case with 4 extra fans to push in/out air.

 

The problem occured whilst playing Back 4 Blood beta, the GPU also get’s rather hot but that’s nothing new (We’re talking 70-80 degrees under load but also 90+ according to task manager). League of Legends and CS:GO had no issues for two hours.

 

Am I correct in assuming my PSU is the problem? Because it’s completly random, sometimes during B4B but also after the restart whilst starting up Discord so that’s kind of confusing.

What did you ugrade and what where the previous parts?

 

Motherboard BIOS is up to date?

 

I've seen issues with some versions of Corsair RAM and Ryzen. What's the exact model of the RAM and what version. You can find the versionnumber on the sticks next to the voltage.

I upgraded my motherboard, CPU and cooler.

 

Motherboard Bios should work out of the box according to Asrock, so I didn’t update that.

 

I’ll add a picture of my RAM.

That's not Corsair Vengeance RAM you mentioned in the TS!

 

Update BIOS to the latest version!

When you say black screening do you mean the video output fails but the PC is still running, or it's just straight up turning off?

So updating my Bios and removing the shittier RAM memory seems to have fixed it. I ordered a 32gb 4000mhz kit from Alternate to replace my crap memory. Thank you very much for your help!
