Backup strategy design?

Budgeter

I have read the following great discussions (https://linustechtips.com/topic/667332-guide-the-basics-of-backing-up/ and https://linustechtips.com/topic/810364-guide-choosing-the-right-backup-methods/), but I would love to have some more guidance on the topic.

At the moment, I would like to create a backup plan for multiple PCs and laptops around the house. There are some requirements, so hopefully someone can provide me some ideas on where to start.

1. Follow 3-2-1 rule, or preferably 3-2-2

2. At least 1 backup is immutable.

For now, my plan is like this.

1. Having 1 external drive to manually backup on-site.

2. Having 1 TrueNas server to automatically backup on-site.

3. The NAS is synced with Google Drive.

4. Data on devices are automatically synced with One Drive.

Now, how can I achieve an immutable state on cloud and how can i automatically backup data on NAS? IIRC, Linus said something like everyone must always work on NAS server, not their local storage to achieve this. Is it correct?
