Constant Beep When Pushing GPU

Hi all,

I searched but am not seeing anything similar to what I am experiencing... I am experienced enough to know I have no idea how to troubleshoot.

I just got (today) a RTX 3060 - Asus ROG Strix, the V2 board, this is brand new from Amazon. I installed it into my system:

X570 Asus TUF mobo
32GB GSkill RAM
Ryzen 5 3800X
2 x 1TB NVME SSD
Corsair 650W modular PSU

Prior to today I've been running this system w/out any issues on a GTX 1050ti while waiting to get a new card on MSRP. I can game on modest settings w/out issues.

Basically when I installed the 3060 everything has been fine, I'm on this machine now without trouble. I loaded up Outriders and as soon as I dropped in-game the system (motherboard) just started giving a constant beep. As soon as I exited the game it stopped. I tried to open Fortnight and it was fine until I upped the visual effects and then same issue. Basically in fortnite on any quality setting if I bump the max FPS above 60 it just constantly beeps until I quit.

What I've tried so far w/no different results:

reseated GPU, RAM, and motherboard power connections
run w/case open to see if fans are failing

Is there any log/etc. I can look at to figure out if this is just a case of a bad card or if something else is going on? This mobo doesn't have codes/led and there are no lights flashing when this happens. Would appreciate any troubleshooting steps/suggestions. Thanks!

edit: I was able to rule out the GPU, we installed it in a friend's system and it's fine, I get the same issue with his 3060 - it's definitely something else. I am a bit stuck, basically any time the GPU gets engaged and the fans spin up the mobo alarm goes off.
