Pc was working just fine until last week. This week it started to hv this issue that sometimes it posted, sometimes it didnt. The case fans, gpu fans, cpu cooler all are spinning wen i power it on, but the display doesnt come up everytime. Have to keep turning it off and turning it back on until it posts.

specs - 

ryzen 5 3600, msi 1650 oc, 2x8gb 3200mhz , wd sn550 500gb ssd. asrock b450 steel legend mobo

How can I fix this issue?

It might be posting just not with a visible monitor.  Or it might not actually be posting. Hard to know from here. If it IS posting just not with video there’s a problem in the video chain (video card, cable, monitor) if it’s actually not posting it would be in the computation chain (more or less everything else) one step would be to determine which it is.  A different OS might be able to tell you something so off a live a Linux liveCd key would tell you something if it worked reliably. It wouldn’t say much if it didn’t though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I reset the bios settings and reinstalled the ram. One of the ram sticks was a bit loose. That fixed it. Thanks for the help!

Lol first moves are always “is it plugged in” followed by “have you turned it off and on”. I Skipped those. “Is it plugged in” FTW.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
