so I was lucky enough to get a somewhat cheaper 3070 ti than what it had been for last few weeks, and before I bore people with the story I'll jump into my why I'm here. I've noticed alot of stuttering and/or high latency in select games. doom eternal for one, control is anoter, the accent to name a few. bit of a pattern of directx12 games apart from doom eternal. even rtx fortnite was pretty bad but I just asummed it was because I put everything on ful, oviously don't play with those setting so I wasn't really aware untile I started playing other games.I did have a weird pc failure after installing it, no blue screen of death or anything but the screen went all blocky and only had a few colours blacks and red before shutting off. I assumed it was bios related where my old card never pushed my system hard so I never relised how unstable the rest of the parts were. kinda owrried it might've broken somthing. there's been some other stuttering reports but the fixes people recommend usally involve turing off windows security features so ofcourse I'm not too trusting of they're recomendations. "oh it's fine, aslong as the app doesn't connect to the inertnet".

TL:DR do these performance numbers with the settings look correct. they don't seem to match anything I've found on youtube. can anyone replicate them. in control the numbers are around 60 until I move the mouse then it drops to below 20 and the mosue jumps in what ever direction I move it in.

Don't have a fix but I found out it's the resizable bar. I disabled it and evertything works perfactly. some games give me double performance or more now. in theory my pc should be able to run resizable bar. amd added support to older cpu if I recall (3600x) and PCIe 3. the card is PCIe4 but I have a PCIe3 nvme sdd, could that be why? perhaps I just have a sucky motherboard? like it kinda is tbh. asus strix x570 gaming-f. was reviewed as overpriced but I manged to find it discounted but like 150-200. like some site were adding a wireless card to sell it while others just cut the price, sorry rambling haha maybe just crappy motherboard connections?
