Microphone static noise

I just installed my new motherboard(asus b550-a gaming) everything works fine, but my mic is very statically. I use an external mic, I dont think it has todo with any of those cables

NW-100 phantom power, worked perfectly find on my old computer

I also want to add on even when my external mic audio interface is off the windows sound control panel still is picking up on audio. very statically

I disabled and enabled the driver and this fixed my issue, what would cause this though?
