I would recommend getting AMD if your planning to do gaming, the GT 1030 in the Intel build is going to be slightly worse than the iGPU in the Ryzen. If you do get a better GPU, then I'd recommend going with the Intel one instead considering some people have said that Intel is better for gaming.

My specs:

Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54)

Intel Core i5-9300H

1TB HDD (WDC WD10SPZX-21Z10T0) + 128GB M.2 SSD (KINGSTON RBUSNS8154P3128GJ1)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (3GB VRAM / 16GB shared) + Intel UHD Graphics 630 (16GB shared)

32GB Crucial CL19 DDR4 (SDRAM) 2667MHz (downclocked from 3200MHz)

1080p 60Hz 15.6in display overclocked to 75Hz

Windows 11 22H2

Old desktop computer

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+

2GB DDR2

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (825MB shared (planning on getting a GT 710 to replace this)

500GB HDD

Windows 7 Professional SP1

Lenovo Ideapad 310-15IKB 80TV (broken hinge)

Intel Core i5-7200U

1TB HDD

Intel HD Graphics 630 (2GB shared)

8GB DDR4 2133MHz

768p 60Hz 15.6in display

Linux Mint 20

Yes. It's not bad, but if you can spend some extra money on a better unit I would recommend it. Maybe a Seasonic GX would be good.

thank you for the suggestion! but actually i don't understand it, pcpartpicker says 200w is enough, i have 600w 80+ bronze!

is there anything else i'm missing on psu quality?

Yeah, if you can get a 1050 or something, go for the Intel build instead

Otherwise, stick with AMD

It's not about how much w a PSU has, but also the quality. Here's a PSU tier list, hope it will help you.

yes! i've also though about asrock b550m pro4, but the only problem is i won't have wifi or bluetooth with it.

and for the m.2 nvme, i'm actually thinking about getting that instead of samsung sata ssd, but i'm not actually sure as i like their magician software 😅.. and i don't know about psu, i'll try to get evga bq then 🙂

Hey, now I changed evga br with cooler master mwe 450 v2 😄

how would this one be?

I think the EVGA would probably be better. If you can find a corsair CX, get that, but otherwise this is probably the best you can get for a decent price

Samsung ssds are overpriced for their preformance. The crucial one would be a better value.

As for the board, you could get a cheep pcie adaptor, it would still be cheeper than the listed board.
