What motherboard/cpu/cpu cooler/ram would you suggest?

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/2PbtGq the only problem is if you can find a GPU at MSRP or near it

Budget (including currency): 1200 EUR

Country: Spain

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming mostly, with some programming on the side

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Would love to play with 1080p at 120Hz (only one monitor, maybe two later down the road). I know I need to upgrade my graphics card and my HDD into an SSD. Improvement suggestions or compatability issues are welcome.

Current Parts:

CPU

Intel Core i7-920

GPU

Nvidia GTX 260

HDD

Intel Raid 0 Volume 600GB

RAM

Unknown 3x2GB

MBD

Asus P6T DELUXE

Planned Upgrades:

SSD

SanDisk Ultra 3D 1TB

GPU

NVIDIA RTX 20 or 30 Series

Mostly, but I would like to get the best bang for my buck. Since I want this upgrade now and I know that GPU's are very much in demand right now, I decided to increase the budget.

IMO you should also look into a platform upgrade. I like those older LGA 1366 chips, but you've got a nearly 13 year old CPU. It's a good CPU, but you won't be able to make complete use of a new GPU with it. Also, 6GB of RAM is quite low. I'd really recommend 16GB these days.
