So bronze is the entry level and higher is better.

Only in terms of efficiency.  Nothing more.

The reason for the Cooler Master suggestion has to do with the fact that it uses an LLC topology with DC to DC for the non-primary rails and NOT efficiency.

Hi,

I got a pc from my relative. System config-

Cpu- intel i3 8100

Gpu- msi radeon rx 570 armor 8gb OC

Motherboard- gigabyte H310M H

Ram- corsair vengeance LPX 2400 8gb ddr4

Ssd- team gx2 128gb sata ssd

Hdd- Seagate barracuda 500gb 3.5 inch 7200 rpm

Psu- Antec ATOM V550

Now, im curious about the psu as pc restarts during gaming. Even though it's 550 Watt its really cheap dont know how.

Just wanted to know if the psu is good enough for the system or should i buy a new one. If so please suggest me a good budget psu. I live in Bangladesh.

This is the shops link that i can buy a psu if necessary. Thanks in advance.

Restarts can be almost anything and almost never the PSU.

Is the Atom the 80 PLUS Gold version with the Purple label?

Judging by 'V' it's teal label non-certified one. So even more garbage.

This one :

https://www.startech.com.bd/antec-atom-550w-power-supply

So yeah, while the PSU is garbage it's probably not PSU related issue, wouldn't hurt to replace it anyway tho and then work out the rest if restarts still happen.

This one at the very least : https://www.startech.com.bd/corsair-cv450-power-supply

Better if this one : https://www.startech.com.bd/corsair-cv650-80-plus-bronze-certified-power-supply

Even better if this one : https://www.startech.com.bd/corsair-cx550f-rgb-power-supply (or it's 650/750W version if you plan some high-end-ish upgrades)

All of them being Corsair is a total coincidence, i mean, there are CM MWE Bronze V2 and Antec Neo Eco Zen for the price of CV650 which are technically better but i'm not sure if i can recommend them, CM MWE V2 one had some problematic batches and there are almost no reviews on Antec NE Zen.

Tag or quote me so i see your reply

Will the Corsair 450watt one be sufficient enough, i mean this one is 550. Dont understand 80plus though.

It's a little better.

This is the best deal:  https://www.startech.com.bd/cooler-master-mwe-450w-v2-power-supply

80 PLUS is just a level of efficiency.  How much AC is required to product X amount of DC.  That's all.
