Determining CPU's physical condition

Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

I don't see any problem with it.

Dent in the heat spreader (the metal thingy) is fine.

As long as the top is perfectly flat, it won't do any harm.

I bought a CPU from ebay and was wondering if someone could please check it out if its in good or bad condition? I did notice it has a remarkable dents on the side where motherboard clip would go, especially on the right (looks like a graze) but is that really bad? Also I have no idea what else to look for, the pads and so on. Here is the link http://imgur.com/gallery/cvmhlzp

These are the sellers images on ebay.

Okay, I am always worried buying form eBay but given the prices of everything, upgrading my pc has come to 2nd hand items. Thank you.
