Concurrent problems... possibly 1 problem

I have 3 980 ti cards, not all installed at once 

Dual xeon e5 chips

win10, all updates as up today, still having issues independent of updates....

Updated nvidia desktop, again, seems independent of these updates.

So about 6 months ago one of my screens went blank. Tested on another computer. FIne. Oh i have tripel monitor setup

1 LG 55 4k tv
2 viewsonic 4k montiors

Sometimes i would power on and DIFFERENT monitors would work. Again, tested them all on laptop,, all 3 monitors are fine. last couple of weeks though if i shut off the computer NO monitors work.

All connected to computer via HDMi and dp adapters.. bought 6 different kinds to see if the adapters are shit. All work fine at times and blank screen other times.

All 3 980ti cards do the same crap. SO not the cards either.

Perhaps its the ram. Have 64

gigs 4x16 

Pulled the ram and went to only 2 sticks, to slots a1/e1

Now the computer boots and i can see all 3 screens BUT!!!!


1) If one of the viewsonic monitors is plugged itno the BOTTOM slot on the card, both will be 4k and the tv will be 1080p

2) If the tv is plugged into the bottom slot it will be 4k and the two smaller ones 1080p

3) if i use 2 display ports adapters for the smaller monitors and just plug the tv into the hdmi slot... the tv is 1080p.

FMR....what in the hell am I doing wrong?
