Budget (including currency): £2000

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Many games but not too much plus some school work from here to there. Mostly gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): For this PC, I am using an Intel i5 10400f and a RTX 3060 (ASUS ROG looks very nice) and for the Motherboard of my build I am using a ASUS ROG STRIX B360-F Gaming ATX. For RAM I am using Crucial ballistix 16gb and for storage I am using a Crucial P5 250gb NVME while for the chonky folders and stuff I am using a 2 tb WD blue HDD. CPU cooler is Corsair H100i elite capellix and the case is a Corsair 4000x RGB because it looks nice and good airflow. Now finally for the PSU I am using a Corsair RM750 750w 80 plus gold, Fully modular. For now this will be my idea for my very first PC build! For Gaming peripherals I am going full Steelseries with an Apex 3 keyboard, Rival 3 mouse and Arctis 1 .If you want feel free to comment any advise or tell me if my Setup is good enough!

For 2000 i would consider an 11th gen as its probably a more bang for buck as its really good price/perf. also you dont need that power supply, the max youd probably need is like 650watt and thats like the max

Thanks for the advice! Good thing Corsair has a whole bunch of PSU but I cant quite manage to find a motherboard that can support 11th gen and is affordable

There should be a few, are you looking at pc part picker, that site can give you a lot of options to view. I'm no expert when it comes to motherboard recommendations so Ill probably leave that to someone else XD. I would also consider the non f variants just so that in the eventuality that you get these components and you cant find a 3060, you can still use the system.

You NEED B560, B360 is a completely different socket. B360 is LGA 1151, B560 is LGA 1200.

Edit: B460 works with 10th gen too.
