Nvidia GTX960 issue

Problem: Hey I’m having an issue with my gtx960. Basically I had to reset my pc because I got a new ssd and now the gpu won’t work correctly. Sometimes I can have display on it and install the drivers, but it crashes right after , sometimes it won’t even show up on the device manager…
The weird thing is before changing the ssd it was working perfectly, I don’t see why it’s related.

What I have tried so far: reset, multiple drivers and cleaning them with DDU, restarting several times (some times the gpu appears sometimes it doesn’t)

Operating system: Windows 10 home 64bit

Specs: i7 6700, gtx 960 2gb, 16gb ddr4

I’ve done that once again a few days ago, gpu was detected as basic display adapter, installed nvidia drivers and then after restart the gpu showed up as disconnected on the device manager.

Yeah I’ve tried stress testing the pc without the nvidia gpu and everything was working fine. I have a prebuilt so it’s kinda complicated to really troubleshoot everything (Asus g20cb).

Is the PCIe power connector fully connected and not loose? If it's a modular PSU, is the PSU end also fully in and not loose?

Well as I said it’s a prebuilt, so how the power works is a mystery for me, I tried refitting everything, nothing is loose.

the best thing to do is test the pc with another gpu( make shure, if you can, to be as power hungry as the gtx 960)

It's the power cabling that goes into the side of the card from the power supply.
